The successful candidate will be passionate about Digital Marketing and customer experience and have a natural ability to put themselves in the customers shoes to make sure all digital communications are on brand and customer centric.

 

This role is an exciting opportunity to join the Woodies marketing department to drive the digital marketing strategy for the Woodie's business.

 

*       Maximise qualified traffic and footfall into Woodies 35 stores and Woodies.ie.

*       Channel ownership

o   PPC (including shopping)

o   Organic and Paid Social – all platforms

o   Affiliate including content creators

o   Email

o   SEO

 

The ideal candidate:

 

*       BA or BSc (Digital Marketing or Marketing courses preferred)

*       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

*       Ability to multitask and ensure flawless execution

*       Passionate about online retail & online marketing

*       Excellent attention to detail

*       A team player with the collaboration skills necessary to support an important national brand though digital touchpoints.

*       Significant experience & interest in SEM (Paid and SEO) 3-5 year

*       Strong understanding of community building and new social channel development

*       Strong background in managing, developing and mentoring a team

*       Web analytics packages & management

*       Agency management experience

*       Working within an online retail team

 

Key Responsibilities:

*       Manage a develop a high performing digital marketing team

*       Manage performance based online marketing channels (Paid search, Paid Social, SEO, affiliate including content creators)

*       Develop a digital content strategy that drives engagement and community for the Woodie's brand including all organic social channels

*       Develop, along with Brand Marketing, the strategy for Woodies organic social in order to drive community and engagement and be a market leader in organic social strategy

*       Working collaboratively with the Shopper Marketing and Brand Marketing teams to ensure digital content strategy operates as a third strand to deliver the over all communication objectives of the business.

*       Align the acquisition strategy with the wider business including Brand & Shopper marketing, PR, buying digital commerce, and CRM.

*       Working with CRM and other key stakeholders to drive the commercial email plan to support business trade and drive retention.

*       Maxmise customer acquisition and cost of acquisition of new customers to Woodies

*       Manage ROAS in order to maximise digital marketing spend

*       Manage relationships with external agencies and free-lance support where necessary

*       Build and maintain relationships with key acquisition enablers including Google, Facebook, Tiktok and other social channels and also constantly seek new innovative relationships that may benefit the business

*       Develop an overall SEO & content marketing strategy

*       Develop and drive an overall acquisition strategy for new customers, and drive retention and repeat purchases from existing customers

*       Seek and drive new innovation techniques including new channels or activity within existing channels that will support the business objectives

*       Drive the business strategy for the affiliate channel including new partnership opportunities alongside management and strategy around collaborations with content creators that will drive business KPIs

*       work with our third party agency to analyse and drive reporting on paid online marketing activity – customer & sales impacts & ROI and optimise budgets & activity by channel accordingly

*       Accountable for the budget management of the digital marketing budget including cadence, phasing and performance of that budget

*       Responsible for the management of CAC, CPO and return on investment for all performance marketing spend and developing strategies to support this
