General Operative - Chadwicks Central Warehouse, Clondalkin, Dublin 22

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (39-hour contract)

Working Week: Monday to Friday (No weekend work – a great perk!)

Location: Naas Road, Dublin 22

Principle Objective

Reporting to the Logistics & Distribution Manager, the General Operative will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the yard and warehouse area. This role requires working effectively as part of a team to ensure that our customers receive a timely, friendly, and dependable service.

Knowledge & Experience

• Previous general operative experience required

• Previous customer service experience beneficial

• Experience in a busy builders' providers is an advantage

• Stock management experience desirable

• Valid forklift licence essential

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries to the warehouse, highlighting any discrepancies and ensuring secure, correct, and timely storage in line with health and safety guidelines

• Maintain a tidy and organized warehouse/store, ensuring stock is clearly identifiable and notifying management of low stock levels

• Responsible for picking, packing, and loading company vehicles for distribution to branches and locations

• Work and communicate effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient warehouse operations

• Perform any other duties as required by the company
