We are seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager to join our logistics team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for line management of logistics team colleagues
- Supporting the effectiveness of daily operations.
- Responsible for day to day detailed outbound and inbound operational decisions directly impacting Supply Chain performance and costs.
- Supporting the Management and development of logistics colleagues.
- Operational support for Head of Logistics Manager
- Assume full management responsibility of the Supply Chain in the absence of the Head of Logistics Manager
- Works with Head of Logistics Manager to develop operational strategy and planning
- Working with a process led approach actively liaise with other functional areas - Retail, Online and Commercial to improve operational performance.
- Identify areas of under-performance and act decisively to address these areas.
Ideal Candidate:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
- Retail logistics experience would be advantageous
- People management experience
- Strong I.T skills including advanced Excel.
- Experience with Navision with be an advantage.
- Collaborative team player who can lead from the front.
