Operation Assistant-Robinhood Road, Dublin 22 (just off Long Mile Road)

As an Operations Assistant at Chadwicks Group, you’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our warehouse and yard operations. Based at our Robinhood Road branch, you’ll be responsible for receiving and storing goods, maintaining a clean and organised workspace, and ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and dispatched. You'll also contribute to stock control, safety awareness, and overall team efficiency. 

Location:  Robinhood Road, off Long Mile Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, D22 V5T3

Hours: Full-time (39 hours), Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays)

Contract: Permanent

What You’ll Be Doing

• Keeping our yard and warehouse in tip-top shape—tidy, organised, and stocked!
• Receiving and checking off deliveries like a pro, making sure everything’s in order.
• Safely storing goods and highlighting any low stock levels (because nobody likes running out of things!).
• Handling the forklift like a boss (if you’re licensed—if not, we can talk!).
• Picking, packing, and loading company vehicles to make sure our customers get what they need—on time, every time!
• Keeping a keen eye out for security risks (think of yourself as a warehouse superhero ).
• Being a top team player, communicating clearly, and making sure everything runs smoothly.

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience in an operative role
• A valid forklift licence is a bonus (but not a dealbreaker!).
• A manual handling certificate would be great.
• Top-notch customer service skills—because happy customers are our priority!
• Knowledge of building materials or plumbing supplies? Awesome! If not, we’ll teach you.
• A can-do attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a love for getting things done right.
