Woodie's; the market leader DIY, Home and Garden Retailer in Ireland and official “Great Place to Work” are looking for an enthusiastic & driven Shopper Marketing Executive to join our expanding Support Office Marketing team in Dublin 24. This role is an opportunity to join a dynamic marketing team and contribute to the success of a much-loved Irish brand. Accountability:
Supporting the Shopper Marketing Manager, this role is responsible for the adaptation of Woodie’s marketing campaigns so that they are communicated consistently and effectively in-store, creating the perfect plan for every store.
The successful candidate will be passionate about shopper marketing and customer experience and have a natural ability to put themselves in the customers shoes to make sure all in-store communications are easy to understand, easy for the store teams to implement and appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of in-store communications and POS materials.
- Respond to business needs with in-store print comms as needed.
- Participate in customer journey mapping & output planning.
- Be the advocate for the customer in all elements of in-store comms planning and delivery.
- Working with the Brand team ensure the Woodie’s brand is communicated consistently in-store
- With support of the Brand Team, develop and implement guidelines for supplier branding in-store.
- Support Shopper Marketing Manager with initiatives such as scoping in-store digital POS solutions and digital SEL options in store.
- Support Shopper Marketing manager in developing retail media opportunities.
- Deliver in-store fixture designs that deliver category objectives & are consistent with brand guidelines.
- Representing the stores when collaborating with Online and Insight teams to ensure all in-store comms are consistent across all platforms.
- Build strong collaborative relationships with commercial, operations and in-store teams.
- Store visits - visit stores nationwide on a regular basis to support the refit teams with rolling refits and to keep in touch with the needs of all stores.
- Participate in agency management – Print, Design & Experiential.
- Support with budget management, PO creation, supplier quotations and managing work to agreed budgets.
- Support Shopper Marketing manager with any in-store activations and events.
Experience & Qualifications required:
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working for a large retailer or FMCG brand in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in all in-store POS formats – offer signs, in-store branding, FSDU, Fixture & End Dressing and in-store navigation
- Strong experience with store refits and managing supplier branding in-store
- Knowledge and experience branding and signposting stores both store external signage and signposting on approach to store to highlight store presence.
- Experience working with large format print, good appreciation for scale.
- Experience delivering in-store creative for a national brand.
- Experience briefing creative to agency with a focus on print materials.
- A bias for teamwork and action
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are required
- The ability to inspire and motivate agencies and internal stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Brand management experience is an advantage
