The Job
Are you passionate about optimizing retail spaces and enhancing customer experiences?
We're seeking a junior Space Planner to join our team and drive the creation of impactful planograms.
If you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for strategic merchandising, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute planograms that maximize the profitability of retail spaces.
- Utilize space planning software to design layouts that enhance product visibility and accessibility.
- Analyse sales data and consumer insights to inform planogram decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align planograms with merchandising strategies and product assortments.
- Ensure planograms comply with company standards and industry best practices.
- Continuously monitor planogram performance and recommend adjustments to improve sales and efficiency.
- Stay updated on retail trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies to inform planogram development.
- Train and support store teams in planogram implementation and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders on space utilization and product placement strategies.
- Participate in range review processes and contribute insights to optimize product assortments.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in space planning and planogram development, preferably in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in space planning software (e.g., JDA Space Planning, Relex Space Planning).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and consumer behaviour insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and precision in planogram design.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance business objectives and customer needs.
- Knowledge of retail merchandising principles and industry trends.
- Adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic retail environment.
