The Job
- Develop and deliver adhoc local tactical marketing initiatives, with clear defined measurable objectives
- Provide marketing support and advice to operations to increase market share within branch local areas
- Support branch requests for additional POS, trade events, local advertising, SMS, emails, billboards etc
- Support the Marketing Communications Manager in the development robust launch campaigns for new branches and branch re-furbs, ensuring full analysis & learnings are taken from each opening and recommendations implemented in future openings
- Support the team and the wider business with ad-hoc & ongoing projects ensuring objectives are met.
- In branch POS – ensure all POS is current and up to date – both Selco brand and supplier POS, advise branches of best practice
- Work with Operational & Creative teams to develop and implement branch signage plans
- Liaising with internal colleagues to agree individual campaign objectives, content, timing and delivery
- Briefing and co-ordinating the work of external agencies to ensure on time in full delivery and briefing artwork into in house design team
- Checking artwork and proofs to ensure 100% accuracy of marketing collateral
- Obtaining competitive quotations for creative, print and media as required
- Checking invoices against orders to ensure accuracy and their appropriate allocation
- Ensuring the delivery of marketing collateral is consistent with the branch guidelines
- Liaising between internal colleagues and suppliers to elicit appropriate contents and financial support
- Addressing branch queries as they relate to the campaign content and/or delivery
- Budget management and control
- Maintaining a record of individual campaign costs
